TDark, saturated and rich, the 2013 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione delivers savory tones of spice and smoke that are folded into dark fruit, prune and dried blackberry. Despite the darkness of the bouquet, this wine shows tartness and freshness in terms of its flavor profile. There is a lot of Sangiovese typicity here, thanks to the delineated character of those wild berry aromas and the crispness of the wine's natural acidity. In fact, the wine is mostly composed of Sangiovese, although very small percentages of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot are added to the blend. A mere 2,400 bottles were produced.

パオロがワイナリーで本格的に働き始めたのが1976年。
ワイナリー購入60年、パオロのワイナリー本格参加30年を記念して、2006年に初めて
リリースされたワインがChianti Classico Gran Selezione
キャンティクラシコ グランセレツィオーネです。
グランセレツィオーネは、チェパレッロの樽の中で最良の樽のみを厳選し、若干のシラーとカベルネ フランをブレンドしています。4年間樽熟成（2年小樽、2年大樽）させ、さらに4年間瓶で熟成させました。
キャンティ クラシコの繊細さと飲みやすさを兼ね備えながらも、スーパータスカンのような凝縮感も感じられるワインです。
